Founding pilot for course creators

Turn your course into guided implementation.

STOTL is being built for experts whose learners understand the lesson but stall when it is time to apply it. The pilot is designed to adapt the guidance while your curriculum, rubric, and boundaries remain authoritative.

  • Creator-controlled curriculum
  • Prelaunch and application-only
  • No public learner enrollment

Steve Jobs at Lund University, Sweden, 1985. The Aristotle passage begins at 4:38. Full recording · Steve Jobs Archive context

A vision four decades in the making

Steve Jobs imagined asking Aristotle a question.

Books preserved Aristotle’s words, but not the living exchange—the ability to question a teacher, expose a misunderstanding, and receive the next useful explanation.

STOTL is building that missing conversation. Aristotle is the first embodied expression of the idea; the underlying system is broader. Any credible, creator-authorized body of knowledge should be able to teach actively.

The creator’s hidden bottleneck

Your course can distribute knowledge. It cannot see where application breaks.

That missing feedback loop becomes abandoned coursework for the learner and repeated support labor for the creator.

01

Completion is not implementation

A learner can finish every video and still be unable to use the method when the real decision arrives.

02

Support does not scale

The creator becomes the missing teaching layer—repeating explanations, diagnosing confusion, and reviewing weak work.

03

Open chat drifts

A general chatbot can answer quickly, but it is not governed by your sequence, rubric, evidence standard, or authority.

The governed teaching loop

Compile. Guide. Verify.

Three linked functions replace the current maze of feature claims with one accountable teaching mechanism.

  1. 01Compile

Turn expertise into an authorized learning path.

STOTL is designed to structure creator-approved material around explicit outcomes, concepts, rubrics, evidence requirements, and boundaries.

    Curriculum + outcome + rubric
  2. 02Guide

Intervene where the learner is actually stuck.

The tutor can change the explanation and the next question while remaining inside the creator’s approved knowledge and sequence.

    Dialogue + practice + feedback
  3. 03Verify

    Advance on evidence—not activity.

The planned assessment layer requires observable work, identifies assistance, applies the rubric, and records what has or has not been demonstrated.

    Evidence + judgment + state

What “demonstrated” must mean

A saved score is not mastery. A defensible evidence trail is.

This static example shows the assessment contract STOTL is being built to enforce. It is not presented as a live production result.

Creator-approved rubric

Pricing hypothesis

  • Names a specific customer
  • Cites direct evidence
  • Separates fact from assumption
  • States the next validation step
Learner submission
“Independent consultants will pay $149 per month because three interviewees described losing billable time.”
AI assistance: coaching only
STOTL diagnosis

Evidence supports the problem—not the price.

The learner identified pain, but supplied no direct willingness-to-pay signal. Revise the claim or label $149 as an unverified assumption.

Founding-pilot contract

Narrow first. Prove the teaching loop. Then expand.

The first wedge is not every learner, school, and company. It is a small set of course creators with enough structure and learner evidence to test whether STOTL improves implementation.

Self-serve platform access

Open learner accounts, institutional deployment, broad integrations, and production-scale automation remain in development.

A strong pilot candidate has:

  • An existing paid or validated course
  • A concrete outcome learners should achieve
  • Work that can serve as observable evidence
  • A recurring implementation or support bottleneck
  • Capacity to collaborate on a controlled pilot

Before you apply

Six essential questions.

What is STOTL?

STOTL is a prelaunch, subject-agnostic teaching layer for creator-approved curriculum. It is being built to turn static courses and expert knowledge into guided practice that requires learners to produce evidence of understanding.

Who is the founding pilot for?

The initial pilot is for established course creators and independent experts with an existing curriculum, a concrete learner outcome, observable learner work, and a recurring implementation or support problem.

How is this different from ChatGPT?

A general chatbot starts with an open prompt. STOTL is being designed around the creator’s curriculum, outcome, rubric, sequence, and boundaries. Adaptation happens inside that governed frame.

Does STOTL replace the creator or instructor?

No. The creator remains the source authority. STOTL extends teaching capacity; it does not silently rewrite the curriculum or become the final authority for high-stakes decisions.

What exists today?

STOTL is prelaunch. Founding-pilot applications are open. Controlled identity infrastructure has passed preview QA but is not yet public. Curriculum ingestion, adaptive tutoring, evidence review, and creator operations are still being built and validated.

Will STOTL eventually support schools and businesses?

The architecture is subject-agnostic and can extend to institutions and training teams. Those markets are not the first landing-page offer; they require additional administration, privacy, accessibility, reporting, and contracting controls.

Founding-pilot application

Bring one course and one outcome worth proving.

This is a fit application, not a generic waitlist. STOTL will use your answers to determine whether the course can test the governed teaching loop.

  • Applications are reviewed manually
  • Selected creators receive a scoped pilot proposal
  • No public launch date is implied
